The Last Light — Interactive Flower Lamp

The Last Light is an interactive project that connects a real object with a digital world. I built a flower-shaped lamp using Arduino, a distance sensor, and a servo motor. When someone walks close to the lamp, the sensor detects them and the flower slowly opens its petals. A warm light turns on inside, making it feel like the flower is quietly blooming.

At the same time, a screen nearby shows a 3D city that I created in Unity. The city looks damaged and empty, like a place after war and pollution. In the center of this world, the same glowing flower appears. Even though the world is broken, the flower is still alive. It becomes a symbol of hope, peace, and gentle life.

The project invites people to move slowly, notice the reaction of the flower, and reflect on how something small and beautiful can survive in a dark environment. It mixes physical computing and digital art to create a calm and emotional experience.
